The company as it works
A company runs the way its people work: what they know, what they have grown used to doing and why. That is where AI has to work to be useful.
AI can work with an imperfect company if it understands how it runs: who decides, where the data lives and why each thing is done. Our first job is to make that clear without reducing it to a rigid manual.

Working, as well as preparing
We want the work to be done by the time someone asks about an order. Drafts help; acting inside the operation is what changes how a company runs day to day.
That is why AI acts by default within its scope and asks when the decision belongs to a person.

The floor
Instructions to a model help, but what matters has to hold even when the model gets something wrong. That is why we put safety underneath: who acts and with what authority, through which door a fact enters the company’s truth and through which door an action goes out into the world.
That floor is Backbone OS. When a better model arrives, it changes above and everything beneath stays the same.

We build on what you already have and leave it better configured. Reversible effects are undone, deferrable ones have their window and definitive ones wait for a signature.
We design every deployment so that, if it is ever removed, your tools keep working as they did before.

What is learned gets reviewed
When AI discovers something new about your company, it proposes it. A person reviews it, and only then does it become data you can rely on.
That way the system gains order over time, and what a person teaches stays in the company.

We want people to stop being the glue between systems that do not talk to each other, and to spend their judgement on the decisions that need it.
We use more technical capability so the work becomes clearer for the people who do it.

What lasts
Models, tools and prices will change. The goal stays: a company able to let AI do work inside its operation without putting the business at risk.
